Kathmandu Valley has recently faced an unprecedented natural disaster due to record-breaking rainfall over the past week, resulting in severe flooding across the region. The heavy rains have caused rivers to overflow, leading to significant damage along the riverbanks and leaving many families without homes and essential belongings.

 

We are relieved to report that all our employees and their families are safe. In Javra’s Kathmandu office, we remain fully operational and committed to maintaining the high standard of service that our clients rely on.

 

In response to this crisis, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team has swiftly mobilised to provide much-needed support to the victims. Our immediate priority is offering food and essential supplies to 40 families who have been rendered homeless by the floods. Additionally, we are organising donations of clothing, utensils, and other daily necessities from our employees in Kathmandu to assist those in urgent need.

 

As we continue to evaluate the ongoing situation, we are dedicated to expanding our efforts to provide further aid. We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of concern and support we have received from clients and partners around the world.
