Get to Know the Marketing Team from Javra

Let's start with Nutan Regmi, our Digital Marketing Specialist.  

Nutan, diving headfirst into the world of digital marketing amidst the chaos of the COVID era of 2019.  

He’s the man behind all the company's events (physical and online) in Nepal and our website expert. He also takes care of a large part of the company’s charity work. It's been a wild ride, but he wouldn't have it any other way! 

As for his hobbies, when not at work, Nutan can be found on the table tennis court, channelling his inner ninja with every swing. He also has a secret talent - self-proclaimed cricket specialist. Yes, you heard it right! He can analyse a match from the comfort of his sofa.  

Did you know that Nutan is a foodie? From the aromatic spices of Indian dishes to the hearty flavours of Nepalese cuisine, he proclaims himself a connoisseur of all things delicious. He has a story for every dish and his enthusiasm for good food is infectious. 

Now, let’s meet Catarina Franco, who is our Digital Marketing Assistant. 

She is passionate about marketing because it requires thinking outside the box and being creative to connect with people.  

Make no mistake, she only discovered her passion for marketing after her first job experience. In fact, her professional background was in a completely different area of business. 

At the age of 18, she moved from Portugal to London to study Music Industry Management, where she graduated in 2017. It was also in 2017 that she stepped into the business world and got her first internship at a digital marketing agency. It was her first experience working in marketing, and she loved it!  

As a result, in 2018 she enrolled in the International Marketing Masters programme at King's College London. This was undoubtedly one of the most important steps in her life, as it made her realise that marketing was the field she wanted to pursue in her career. Although her passion lies in the creative and strategic aspects of marketing, most of her work experience has been in the operational side of marketing until she joined Javra Software. 

When not at work, Catarina enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Also, she is an animal lover so this year she started taking horse riding lessons. In fact, this has helped her to get rid of the stress of the week and at the same time it keeps her in touch with nature.  

Another fun fact about Catarina, apart from being a fitness addict, is that she is also a fitness dance instructor for Salsation.  

Finally, we have Sophiya Pant, who is our Junior Photo Editor. 

Sophiya is another shining star in the vibrant tapestry of Javra Software's marketing team. Born amidst the serene landscapes of Nepal, she later found her footing in the Netherlands, where her journey has been nothing short of fascinating. Her educational pursuits in the Netherlands equipped her with a robust foundation in technical skills, seamlessly merging with her innate creativity – a blend that has propelled her career in online editing. 

Sophiya's professional life is a wonderful example of her ability to blend the technical with the artistic. As a full-time online editor, she's a whiz at navigating the digital realm, using her technical know-how to create content that really resonates with a wide audience. And do you know what? Her talents don't stop at the screen! She's also a certified makeup artist, which requires a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for aesthetics. This certification isn't just a testament to her skills, but also an extension of her creative spirit, which shines through in her work both in and out of the office. 

Beyond her professional life, she enjoys a variety of independent activities such as reading, drawing, singing, and travelling. Sophiya’s diverse range of hobbies and interests aren't just pastimes for her – they're an essential part of her professional life! They inspire her to bring creativity into her work in so many ways. Whether it's the delicate strokes of her drawings or the harmonious notes of her singing, each hobby contributes to a holistic approach to her career. This enables her to see beyond the conventional and embrace innovative solutions!
